NVIDIA GRID Community Advisor Program
The NVIDIA GRIDTM Community Advisor Program brings together graphics virtualisation thought leaders and experts from across the globe, giving members exclusive access and insight into NVIDIA GRID product strategy and technology. This select group engages with NVIDIA team members to help drive the future of graphics virtualisation and cloud technologies by providing feedback on product strategy, shaped by their experiences and expertise. NVIDIA gives these trusted experts the information, support, and tools they need to advance the success of NVIDIA GRID in the marketplace and grow the community of GPU enthusiasts.
The program recognises the contributions of individuals who have invested a significant amount of time and resources to become experts in NVIDIA GRID solutions or in related technology domains. Applicants must be industry-recognised influencers that demonstrate technical skills and hands-on expertise with NVIDIA GRID and related technologies critical to graphics virtualisation.
Approved applicants can expect:

- Join in-person meetings with NVIDIA product teams for detailed discussions on GRID technologies and product roadmaps

After a rigorous review process and mutual agreement on the expectations of this community, we're pleased to announce the first twenty members of this program.
Durukan has led Dell's Cloud Client Computing and VDI businesses in Turkey, Israel, and neighbouring countries since 2011. He has been responsible for dozens of GRID production deployments over the last 3 years, working with large-scale manufacturing customers with complex security and VDI needs. He holds MBA and Computer Engineering degrees, is an Oracle Certified Professional, and a lead auditor for Information Security Management Systems. Before joining Dell, he held various roles in enterprise technology companies in the CEE & MEA region.
Barry is an avid blogger following everything to do with the EUC, virtualization, storage, and cloud industries. He has co-authored two books focusing on VMware Horizon View and been reviewer for a book on AppVolumes. He has been awarded the VMware vExpert title four times between 2010 and 2013 for contributions to the VMware community. Barry's responsibilities range from identifying new technologies and architecting solutions for customers, to speaking and hosting customer-focused events surrounding virtualization, end user computing, storage, and cloud computing. Barry's greatest passion for enterprise technology is with end-user computing solutions, focusing on delivering enhanced user experience to users. Tony is a virtualization aficionado who has been working in the virtualization industry since 2005, implementing and supporting virtualization solutions. For his first seven years he designed, deployed, and supported hundreds of vSphere implementations across the Midwest for a regional VAR. In 2012 Tony was named a VMware vExpert and has continued participation in the program. That same year he was also named a Dell Tech Center Rockstar. Tony joined VCE in 2012 as a Corporate Engineer specializing in End User Computing and helped design many large EUC implementations. In 2014 he joined EMC as the Principal Tech Marketing Engineer for EUC Solutions. He currently enjoys his role at EMC and is excited about the EUC solutions he is working on. In 2015 Tony was a founding member of the VMware EUC Champions program.
Ronald supports Citrix Solutions Advisors with his technical skills in desktop and application virtualization during pre-sales engagements and PoCs. Based near Cologne, Germany, he has deep technical knowledge in desktop virtualization technologies covering all aspects from provisioning and management to all types of user experience enhancements (HDX/ICA). He started his career at Citrix Systems in 2008, when he helped drive desktop virtualization initiatives as a Subject Matter Expert for XenDesktop. Since the support of XenServer (GPU-passthrough) and Nvidia GRID/ Xenserver vGPU, he has focused on HDX-3D Pro, where he has supported implementations of NVIDIA GRID for the automotive industry, educational institutions, architecture, and manufacturing. With the help of these real-world experiences, he frequently provides feedback to product management and engineering in many organizations to continuously improve NVIDIA GRID vGPU deployments. Ron’s blog, the “Big List” of Graphical tools is considered a must-read in the community. He is also a familiar face reaching out to the community running training events, webinars, and speaking at conferences.
Richard has been an IT consultant in the Bay Area since 2005 and at Entisys Solutions for the last 3 years. Entisys and its partner company, Agile360, won Citrix Partner of the year in 2007, 2012, and 2015 and are deeply committed to virtualization and VDI-related solutions. Richard has contributed significantly to the NVIDIA GRID community with his deep technical reviews and benchmarking data, shared at GTC and via his blogs. He is focused on the design and implementation of virtualization solutions centered on Citrix, VMware, and Microsoft technologies. For the last two years, Richard has been involved in a highly visible and successful VDI project for a leader in 3D design software using the NVIDIA GRID vGPU solution. Richard’s detailed technical blogs and benchmarks on GRID have contributed greatly to community understanding.
Magnar is a EUC solution specialist, blogger, speaker, and community tool developer with 15+ years experience in End User Computing. Based in Bergen, Norway, he has worked with Citrix, Microsoft, and VMWare products since 1999 and with NVIDIA products since 2012. Magnar has a passion for technology, computer visualization, and virtual reality, as well as experience in 3D modeling, graphic manipulation, and video effects. He has assessed, designed, implemented, and supported many virtual graphics solutions based on NVIDIA technology for small to large companies in the oil and gas industry in Norway. Magnar shares his knowledge, tools and experience on his blog, www.virtualexperience.no, and speaks at numerous industry conferences including Citrix Synergy, Briforum, and Citrix User Group.
Arash is the co-founder of dRaster, a VFX software company working with GRID and other NVIDIA SDKs on graphics and gaming. Arash previously worked as a software developer for Autodesk, implementing features for Maya and has also worked as a designer and animator for Sony Online Entertainment and others. Arash brings a unique knowledge of 3D application internals and end-users to the program and is active in many developer communities and forums.
Tobias spent 15 years as a research astronomer before a career charge that took him to NAU's (Northern Arizona University) central IT department. A strong advocate for the use of computers in education, he has helped introduce a number of technologies to students and staff, embracing many open source tools, as well as Citrix and other commercial products. An early advocate of virtual computing, he is a leading poster on the Citrix discussion forum and works with his team on everything from virtual servers and thin clients to software defined storage, GPU technologies, disaster recovery, Web-based services, and anything else that can enhance and secure the educational computing environment. Tobias brings considerable experience in using a range of NVIDIA technologies for HPC, VDI, and graphics as a long time user of Quadro, Tesla and GRID products.
Ben works at EBB3, a UK-based consultancy specializing in complex managed service solutions. Ben has focused on NVIDIA GRID, virtual Maximus (Multi-GPU) configurations, GPU accelerated VDI, GPU accelerated apps, enterprise infrastructure, and virtual technologies. Ben led EBB3 to provide one of, if not the, first fully demonstrable 4x 4k virtual workstation that supports the use of seismic workloads using GRID 2.0 technologies. Ben is also involved in evaluating using virtual Maximus (Multi-GPU) configurations for these same workloads (M6000 & K80) while making use of external GPU containment technologies (dedicated GPU Chassis).
Phillip is an independent consultant and architect providiing services including but not limited to assessments, design, implementation, and rollout support of Citrix, VMware, and Microsoft solutions. He is heavily focused in End User Computing (EUC), delivering many complex engagements, and has worked in the IT industry for fifteen years. Philip holds many industry certifications and awards including his CCE-V from Citrix, MCSE 2000/2003 from Microsoft, and VCP4 and VCP5 from VMware. He is also a six time VMware vExpert for his contributions to the virtualization community, as well as a three time Cisco Datacenter Champion. Phillip contributes his knowledge and experience to the broader community on his blog at http://www.p2vme.com, CItrixIRC, IRC, Twitter, and MyCUGC.
Sean is a Technical Architect for AHEAD, a consulting firm based out of Chicago, IL. He focuses on mobility and VDI technologies. He has 10 years of experience in IT and blogs at thevirtualhorizon.com. Sean is also well known in the virtualization community via his community work in the vExpert (VMware), Nutanix Technology Champion, and VMware EUC Champion programs.
Andrew is a passionate end user computing evangelist, independent consultant, and software developer. Currently, Andrew is as a senior End User Computing Architect for Ireland’s largest Citrix Partner, Zinopy, working with Ireland’s largest Citrix customers to build enterprise, desktop virtualization, and mobility solutions spanning Citrix, Microsoft, and VMware platforms. Andrew also works part time as an evangelist with ControlUp. With deep knowledge of the monitoring market for Virtual Desktop (VDI/SBC) environments, he has also written numerous community virtualization tools, working with all types of teams such as the Citrix XenDesktop / XenApp teams as well as the VMware EUC division. Andrew also co-hosts a podcast with fellow industry expert Jarian Gibson called Frontline Chatter. He regularly speaks at BriForum, Citrix Synergy, E2EVC, and various Citrix User Groups. Andrew has been recognized for his community contributions via CTP, vExpert, NTC, RSVP, ACE, VMware EUC Champion, and other awards.
Rasmus implements, upgrades, and refines Citrix environments, from small and relatively simple installations to the more complex ones. No matter if it is from sizing to configuration, performance to features, it is always with the user experience in mind. He primarily works on design and implementations of the XenApp and XenDesktop products. Rasmus is a keen attendee of the EMEA GRID partner days and training events and travels across EMEA to keep NVIDIA updated on what partners and customers need.
Soeren has worked with VMware View and Horizon for 5 years to transform the R&D client environment at Siemens WInd Power from multiple physical workstations to solely VDI and especially powerful 3D vGPU desktops. Soeren has a 20+ years’ background in EUC and Client management.
Barry has over 13 years of IT experience and is a specialist on Microsoft Windows, Desktop, and Server virtualization and application delivery with Citrix NetScaler. He is one of the co-founders and member of the board of the Dutch Citrix User Group. He writes regularly on his website www.barryschiffer.com and presents on national and international conferences like the Citrix User Groups and E2EVC. Barry is a Citrix Certified Expert on Virtualization, Microsoft Certified IT Professional, and RES Certified Professional. RES Software also awarded Barry with the RES Software Valued Professional status since 2012.
Marius works as a Senior Cloud Architect in Norway and is a MVP (Microsoft Valued Professional), vExpert (VMware), Veeam Vanguard, Dell Rockstar, and Nutanix Technology Champion. His primary role is helping partners design and configure public & private cloud solutions. The majority of his work is mostly related to datacenter end-user computing but also includes Web 2.0 projects and microservices. Marius has worked in IT for over 10 years, and during that time has been an instructor for Citrix, Veeam, Microsoft, and Nutanix. He has also written books around Citrix NetScaler and is one of the few external experts invited to present on the Citrix NetScaler master class. He can often be found on his blog msandbu.wordpress.com.
Kanishk is based in India and has worked in support and as a system administrator. His popular “Let’s Virtualize” blog contributes greatly to the VMware and Microsoft communities with hundreds of articles on how to resolve issues and build a home lab, in addition to covering both VMware and Microsoft virtualization technologies including Azure, cloud and VDI.
Ruben is responsible for driving vision, technology evangelism, and thought leadership with Atlantis customers, partners and communities. He is a well-regarded author, speaker, market analyst, technologist, and all-around geek. An established industry leader and luminary, he is one of only a few individuals in the world to hold three prestigious virtualization awards: Microsoft Most Valuable Professional (MVP), Citrix Technology Professional (CTP), and VMware vExpert. Ruben has presented more than 150 sessions at national and international events and founded several independent industry analysis bodies including Project Virtual Reality Check (VRC), Team Remote Graphics Experts (TeamRGE), and AppVirtGURU.
Roy has worked since 1997 in virtualization environments and was employed at various Citrix partners. As the owner/CEO of IT Textor in Germany, he is responsible for many GPU virtualization projects at key accounts. Roy is known for his TechTalk sessions, as well as a speaker at various virtualization focused conferences and workshops. In addition, he manages and hosts the German-speaking Citrix User Group / DCUG and has been responsible for hosting dozens of free user group meetings about GRID, HDX, and related technologies in numerous cities in Germany, Switzerland and Austria.
Dr. Tritsch is a solution architect, market analyst, community leader, author, and founder of DrTritsch.com. He is a Subject Matter Expert in IT virtualization, Windows workspace management, cloud technologies, high-end graphics remoting, and remote end user experience benchmarking. In his role as a principal consultant and evangelist he works with customers and partners across Europe and North America.In the early 90s, Benny started his professional career in computer graphics research and received a PhD in computer science in 1996. From 1999, he has been in management positions at international IT vendors and consulting companies before starting his own consulting practice in 2015. He speaks around the world at major industry events each year, including Microsoft TechEd/Ignite, Citrix Synergy, VMware VMworld, BriForum and E2EVC. Over the last 12 years Benny was awarded as a Microsoft Regional Director, Microsoft Most Valuable Professional (MVP), Citrix Technology Professional (CTP) and VMware vExpert.
