Now available for download by Microsoft® Windows® MCE 2005 system builders. This new driver supports both Single and Dual Tuners for MCE 2005 for receiving analog television broadcast streams into the Media Center Edition 2005 PC environment with hardware MPEG2 encoding (Hardware MPEG-2 encode offloads work from the CPU so your Media Center PC can record flawlessly in the background while being used for any other purpose). This is the base layer for providing PVR functionality. It also controls the tuner hardware while capturing analog broadcast video sources from set top boxes.
